Humboldt Bay Oyster Tours offer another great way to experience the bay. This independent tour operator, lovingly known as Sebastian “Oyster Dude” Elite of Aqua Rodeo Farms, will take you out on a motorboat or kayak tour to an actual Oyster Farm.

This two-hour excursion that begins at low tide out of Eureka, CA. Captain Sebastian leads guests on a hands-on hunt for oysters that are prime for picking and then takes the group (along with their catch) back to the local Tourism Center, where the freshly harvested oysters are prepared and eaten.
